Life, ebbs and flows
Like a river or a stream
Day in – Day out
We live, We dream
It all seems so large
So grand
Day to day
Hand to hand
One day single
Desperate, alone
Without love
Unknown
Then married
To a wife
Life is free
Without strife
Then a son arrives
Like magic he is here
So close
So near
Yes, like a journey
Life ebbs and flows
Day in – Day out
Where it ends no one knows
