Haiku – Praise

We should praise this day

Let the sun shine down on us

The cold has no hold

Okay, so I did this last week and I thought I would try it again, but this time a little different.

If you so desire you can write a Haiku or Poem based off the word Praise and what it means to you.

You can leave it in the comment section below or post it in your blog and then provide the link in the comment section below.  It is clearly your choice or you can just hit the like button.  Whatever works for you.

Thanks again for participating.

    Charlie was off to church
To praise – his vicar would inspire
But as he neared – its spire
    he gave a solemn gaze
Smashing into a pole which left him in a daze

      gnstr,
I like this. A very very short poem narrative with a drum roll at the end. Nice one.

Nice. I like this one. It made me smile. I guess you really have to watch where you are going.

Your poem is lovely, both metaphysical and physical at the same time.
My haiku contribution to your “praise” suggestion:

    “like” from a writer
    in my WordPress blog comments
    the high praise I crave

What is it about those pesky likes we crave so much? I look forward to seeing those stars when I log in each day. Thanks for the Haiku.

Hey, I enjoyed your haiku. Thank you for the temptation to write one.

    She praised him too much
He praised him never at all
    They tore him apart.

Thanks for taking the time to participate. I am always glad to feed temptation. Nice Haiku.
