Creeping, crawling, slithering along
Singing their sunny song
With their clicking, clacking claws
On the ends of their big hairy paws
They slither and shake
Through the darkness they quake
I wrote this earlier today and I honestly don’t know what to think about it. I thought I would post it and see what you, fellow readers, thought about it. I would aim this more towards kids like a Shel Silverstein poem with a drawing to go along with the small poem.

It needs monster pictures with it. Even kids crayon monster pics would work. I thought “Snake? Dog? Snake?”
I wish I could put pictures to my kid’s poems. I think it would help so much.
Scanner? Add media?
I never thought of that and my wife can do pen and ink drawings. That would work perfectly.
A blog called ruleofstupid.wordpress.com puts little line drawing comics in his posts that can be quite funny. They’re simple but effective. I’m very low tech and only just got a free scanner from a neighbor this week. it could open up a whole new world… (in my spare time);-)

I need to get my wife to draw up something so I can post it with my next one.
