better an owl that a woodpecker, which i did have living near my home up in our local forest whne we lived there and he like to peck on a metal sigh and there is NO sleeping through it trust me!
That sounds like a recipe for no sleep.

I have a fox that sleeps in bushes near my bedroom window and when he cries out for his mate at night there is no sleep to be had!
That stinks. It really is tough to get a good nights rest when something like that is going on.
I think the gentle hooting would put me to sleep…
