A deserted road

Crawling with night’s thick darkness

Man walking alone

His coat held tightly

Bracing against the cold air

Teeth chattering loud

A soft sound nearby

Man pauses for a moment

Hurries towards home

In the dark bushes

Creature with crimson red eyes

Waits for its moment
