Train whistle blasting
Across the tranquil morning
Echoing loudly
I love a distant train whistle on a quiet day. We have an antique steam engine that comes through about 2 miles from here twice a week. It has an eerie, spooky sound.
It really does and it sounds like the past is still alive and well in modern times.
