Three tiny round rocks
Decorated with color
Laying on a wall

I was out walking with my kids one day and stumbled upon these three rocks. Don’t know who painted them or why they were there, but I decided to grab a picture of them. Figured it might lead to a nice Haiku and it did. Thanks to whoever painted them.

Squirrel on a flat tree stump
Having a quick meal

Have you guys ever watched a squirrel eating nuts? They eat like it’s a contest. Guess they are always high octane creatures.

I hope all of you reading this have a great new year. Here’s hoping next year life can get back to something resembling normal, if not all the way back to normal, at least I hope it gets back to something where we can feel safe to leave our homes again.
