Squirrel on a flat tree stump

Having a quick meal

Have you guys ever watched a squirrel eating nuts? They eat like it’s a contest. Guess they are always high octane creatures.

The warmth of sunshine

Stretching across bright blue skies

Killing the harsh chill

Cold, barren grey clouds

Stretching across sunny skies

Day plunged into dark

Good morning sunshine

Waiting on your healing rays

To warm a cold day

Splitting into grey fragments

Revealing blue skies

Fog, like a white shroud

Layers of mist filled moisture

Conceal the sunshine

White frost laying soft

Like grains of powdered sugar

Dusting the cold ground

Rain, slowly building

Click, clack, upon the window

Steady rhythmic beat

Clouds across the sky

Exploding with bright colors

Orange and purple

Outside in the sun

Cold chill eradicated

In the warming rays

A frozen morning

White frost twinkles in the sun
