Night’s creatures retreat

Day starting to stir

A mix of clouds and sunshine

Persistent cold air

Clouds starting to part

Sunlight revealing itself

Day slowly warming

Stubborn dark-grey clouds

Blocking out the morning sun

Refusing to part

Soft warming sunshine

Filling up the clear blue sky

Morning chill abates

Bright sunlight splashes

Across the blue morning sky

Happy birds singing

A cold and grey day

Drenched in wet winter raindrops

Falling from the sky

Bright shafts of sunlight

Falling across the green wall

Relaxing and warm

Chilly rain showers

Hanging low and thick
