Morning kissed with red

Mother Nature is blushing

As the sun rises

Night chomping at me

Darkness quickly closing in

Sun slowly fades out

Birds softly singing

Dawn approaches early now

Summer on its way

Cat on a cat-tree

Eyes on the prize in the yard

Curse these glass windows

Summer has returned

A hot and muggy May day

Filling up the spring

Bird on a spicket

Cardinal waits for water

In the dying light

Watching warming beams

Rip through the belly of night

Eyes await the day

Bird on a tree branch

Singing praises of springtime

Joy in its heart

Rain showers falling

Birds taking a nice long pause

Washing and bathing

Cool night approaching

Sunshine shedding daylight skin

Slips into darkness

Morning back to cold

Spring and Winter are dancing

No one wants to lead

Creek weaving forward

Cutting a sharp and hard path

Through the forest floor

Winter is passing

Giving way to warmer days

Free of snow and ice
