Covered in orange
Cherry tree alive in flames
Like the rising sun
Blustery, frozen
Hands and face like tomatoes
A winter like day

My son wanted to feed the ducks at the park, so I had promised him we would. So, so, so, cold out there. Would have been nice if it was warmer, but we enjoyed ourselves before retreating inside for some Starbucks coffee (I had the coffee, not my two-year old – just wanted to clear that up).
Are you ready for the winter? Not sure I am, but it is coming whether I like it or not.
How about a nice sunny song to keep us all feeling grand and warm today.
Filled with fall’s beauty
The trees are full of color
Red, greens, and yellows

Deck covered in leaves
Colors of yellow and green
Scattered on the wood
Morning light reveals
Blue skies, and a warm red sun
No clouds to be seen

Crunchy yellow leaves
A thick blanket of color
On the summer grass
The First One:
Yellow and brown leaves
River Birch changing early
Signs of things to come
The Second One:
Orange color creeps
Consuming Summer’s green leaves
Autumn almost here
Wind rattled tree leaves
Grey, damp, dark, and dreary day
Rain puddles linger
Orange color creeps
Consuming Summer’s green leaves
Autumn almost here
The First One:
Yellow and brown leaves
River Birch changing early
Signs of things to come
