Snowy frozen land
Blanket of white on the ground
Winter’s bitter cold
•
We finally got a decent amount of snow down here, which is the only part of winter I like. We’ve had our chances, but it always seems to miss us. I know people up North are probably sick of it by now, but if it has to be this cold, why not let it snow? Anybody agree with that statement?
Sharply bright sunshine
Out in a cloudless blue sky
Great day to go run
•
Finally, a great day to get outside. It seems like my last three attempts, I have had to deal with rain or cold. Nice to see a cloudless day for a change, and warm for that matter.

Pitter patter splash
Soft rain drops drip, dip, and dash
Feet keeping their stride

Nice run today, just barely got inside before the ran started pouring down. I spent most of this walk/run in a steady mist with occasional rain drops, which isn’t bad if it is warm, but if the weather is cooler it can be a pain.
A sunny nice day
Warmth killing the bitter cold
Muscles are happy

Nice to walk/run on a warm day and a non windy day. Hope to get a few more this winter. Hope everyone had a great Christmas.
Gifts we have carried
Traveling from far away
To see the new king

The Magi (/ˈmædʒaɪ/ [1] or /ˈmeɪdʒaɪ/; Greek: μάγοι, magoi), also referred to as the (Three) Wise Men or (Three) Kings, were in Christian tradition, a group of distinguished foreigners who visited Jesus after his birth, bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. They are regular figures in traditional accounts of the nativity celebrations of Christmas and are an important part of Christian tradition.

One day cold, then warm
Weather challenges to face
Each time that I run

Well, another walk/run, and another extreme, yes there was wind, always is, but this time the day was warm. Go figure. One day freezing my toes off and the next, trying to deal with the heat. Tough winter season this year for running.
Cool breeze and blue sky
Hard 4.1 miles today
Equaling my age

I figured since I hit the number 41 today, that I would do a walk/run of that distance. I am glad to say, I did. Nice to be able to do that as the years drift on by.
On a bright blue sky
Flour sprinkled wisps of clouds
Linger as I jog

Kiss me with dew drops
The morning said to the night
Then leave me to shine

A stiff frigid breeze
Taunting me, haunting my run
Still wearing the shorts

I don’t know why it has to be so windy every time I decide to run. Never fails, calm day, then just as I step outside the breeze picks up. Just can’t seem to get a break from it this winter.
A cold cloudy day
Creative juices hampered
My brain won’t wake up

Snap, crackle, and pop
Bones creaking in the cold air
Running hard today
