Vultures
I did a series of shorts on my Verse of Nature Channel for vultures. I saw this bird eating a carcass in our neighborhood and then sitting on a roof. Looked ominous. Grabbed my phone and started recording.
First up is the first short – the one from the roof top.
Second one is from a driveway.
And feeling inspired I created this creepy haiku.

I saw a white skunk last night. It had a black streak across its back. Amazing what you see on a mountain vacation. Anybody ever seen one or have you seen just the normal version?

I had a big ol’ Possum come calling last night. I kept hearing something as I was reading on the couch, and I went to check the deck and there it was nosing in the trash bag I left out there. I guess it got hungry.
