Night’s darkness growing
Crawling across the daylight
Vampires start to rise
Sitting in the hall
Head swiveling left and right
Watching for shadows
The crescent shaped moon
Hanging in the nighttime sky
Shining as we sleep
Bitter cold morning
Hot cup of coffee in hand
Helps to warm the day
Stubborn dark-grey clouds
Blocking out the morning sun
Refusing to part
Saturated clouds
Filled with tiny warm raindrops
Washing out the day
Wind chimes in motion
Tinkling softly in the breeze
Calmly making noise
Soft warming sunshine
Filling up the clear blue sky
Morning chill abates
Bright sunlight splashes
Across the blue morning sky
Happy birds singing
A decade ending
Time for reflection and change
As a new one starts
A cold and grey day
Drenched in wet winter raindrops
Falling from the sky
Christmas approaching
Anticipation growing
Kids filled up with joy
Bright shafts of sunlight
Falling across the green wall
Relaxing and warm
The smell of coffee
Permeating the morning
Gleeful and robust
Chilly rain showers
Falling on lifeless flowers
Winter, harsh and bleak
Day kissed with dark grey
Morning covered in dense fog
Hanging low and thick
Clouds dominating
Burying the warm sunlight
Day a grey blanket
Bountiful blue skies
Stretching vast, deep, and endless
Soothing all tensions
Enchanting blue skies
Revealed as the grey clouds part
Sunshine warms the soul
Wet leaves on the deck
Laying in large heaping piles
Brown, dead, and lifeless
