A cold wet morning
Kids hopes of a big snowfall
Dashed with each rain drop
Cold cloudy morning
My favorite coffee mug
Helps to warm me up
Shocking cold morning
Winter returns with a blast
Sudden arctic chill
Kids are bickering
Back and forth they go like jays
Coffee always helps
Thick grey morning clouds
Sky gloomy, dark, and dreary
Rain about to fall
A busy morning
Racing my son off to school
Typical Monday
Rich, smooth, and soothing
Steaming cup of hot coffee
Helps to start the day
The window prism
Shining colorful rainbows
Upon the green wall
A rainy morning
Clouds hanging heavy and low
Day covered in grey
The smell of coffee
Permeates the small kitchen
Brewing strong and hot
New day approaching
Dawn’s light on the horizon
Killing off the night
New year approaches
As Christmas takes an exit
Time for a restart
A light rain falling
Dropping from a cold grey sky
Splashing in the creek
Day after Christmas
Toys and presents scattered
Around the pine tree
Christmas Eve today
Santa waits at the North Pole
Anxious and ready
A bright cold morning
Hot and strong cup of coffee
Bird singing outside
A happy joyful tune
Welcoming the day
Clouds parting quickly
Day filled with lots of sunshine
Greets me this morning
Tiny small raindrops
Covering the deck today
Blanketing the ground
A morning sunrise
Warm rays welcome a new day
Fill us all with hope
