Take a walk in me
Outside in my fresh cool air
as the seasons change

Feel the crunch of my
leaves under your walking foot
as you explore me

My Fall time of year
will soon fade into winter
I’m not as nice then

Spring though, will arrive
and then once again you can
take a walk in me
Spring’s green – Summer’s warmth
Turns to multicolored leaves
In Fall’s fading light
Fall 1
The air of Autumn
Colors leaves of dying green
Gold, orange, and red
Fall 2
Crisp, cool morning air
Nipping at your finger tips
Frost will be here soon
Dark clouds hovering
Tossing rain drops on the ground
Splashing through puddles

A dark cloud filled sky
Sitting at home all alone
Waiting on the sun
A butterscotch light
With beams of candy yellow
Fills the sky of blue
White cotton ball clouds
Burning on a light blue sky
The world turns crimson
Sky Fire 1
Grey storm clouds parting
Turning the sky into fire
Day ends in a blaze
Sky Fire 2
Sunlight fading fast
Leaving embers in the sky
Day takes one last breath
Sky Fire 3
Rays of sun explode
As the day is closing down
The sky above burns
Creepy, crawly, blue
I can’t believe you’re leaving –
footprints on this earth

As the day is closing down
The sky above burns
Sky Fire 1

Turning the sky into fire

Day takes one last breath
Running my butt off –
going for seven long miles.
Know what? I did it.
I haven’t done this distance since early May of this year.
Just happy to get back to it.
This Haiku was running through my head for most of it.
I love this cooler weather.
