I’ve never tried my hand at Acrostic Poetry before, but this one kind of came to me earlier in the day. I am also not sure Haiku Poetry is usually used for Acrostic.
Anyway, anyone who does Acrostic Poetry, can you tell me what you think of this one or if you don’t, thoughts and what not about it are always appreciated?

I actually got back out there tonight. It felt (and I can’t say this enough) so good. I only did about 3 or 4 minutes of running out of 30 minutes, but at least I did something. I am happy about that.
Anybody else trying to get back into exercising? Feel free to vent below.

Yeah or nay, are you glad warmer days are here?
I sure am.

Anybody taking advantage of Mulching season – that’s what it really is right now. I think I have put down about twenty or so bags so far, planted a few new things, and still have loads more to do. I am not an outdoor guy though. Not a big fan of yard work, but if it looks nice, kind of have to do it.
So, do you like or hate yard work?

As a sidebar: I’ve kind of had this song in my head for two days. Maybe you will as well.

Jordan Spieth just won The Masters by destroying everyone around him. I honestly don’t watch a lot of golf – never played the game myself – but sometimes I like to watch it. I got hooked this weekend, and I had to Haiku about it today. Did anyone reading this watch The Masters this weekend? I would love to hear your thoughts.

I was reading this bit of poetry this morning on Black and Write and it inspired me to write this Haiku. Thanks Dom for the inspiration.
Dish rattling thunder
Lots of loud bomb-sounding bursts
Quick lightning flashes

I can say that in all my years of being a part of storms, the one we are in right now has to be one of the loudest I have ever heard. The thunder is so loud at times it sounds like a cannon is going off next door. The lightning flashes are also so bright that even in a lighted house they still make me squint. Crazy spring storm. How about you? What is the loudest storm you’ve ever been in?
