A Poetry Journey
Gloomy, cold, and grey
Winter has gently returned
Spring takes a brief pause
Cold start to the day
Winter has returned again
Springtime set to chill
A passing airplane
Leaving long straight white contrails
In the bright blue sky
A splash of sunshine
Beautifully it washes
All over the day
Thick grey clouds parting
Revealing plentiful sun
Abundant warm rays
Song birds in the trees
Singing loudly in the fog
Waiting for sunshine
Soft white snow flurries
Dropping from a lead grey sky
Falling all about
A small round Robin
Hopping lightly on the ground
Searching for breakfast
Bright beautiful sun
Hanging in a cloud free sky
Warming a cold day
A concert of birds
Singing out in the bare trees
Waiting for springtime
Rays of warm sunshine
Peeking out from the grey clouds
Waiting to shine bright
UV index low
Once again cloudy and cold
Bright sunlight hidden
Another grey day
Clouds permeate the morning
Covering the sun
Fog, heavy and thick
Hanging like a soft white veil
Gloom, gloom, and more gloom
Once again dark rainy skies
Dominate the day
Bright red cardinal
Sitting on a leafless branch
Swaying with the wind
Rainy saturday
Gloom drenches the bright sunshine
Warmth buried in grey
Another dark day
Sun hidden behind grey clouds
Like a dark black veil
Cold drizzle drenches the day
Nature covered grey
Puffy dark grey clouds
Dominate the morning sky
Cold rain is looming
