Dark black clouds hanging
Thick, fat, heavy with spring rain
Running hard today

Good day out there on the old running shoes. Β I had one of my better timed runs. Β For the 4 mile walk/run that I usually do, I don’t think, of course, don’t quote me on this, but I don’t think I have been under 50 minutes since I started doing it. Β I was just over 48 minutes earlier today, which may not seem like much to most folks, but for me that is a turning point. Β I’ve always been a slow runner. Β Nice to see the legs maybe churning in my favor. Β How about you, fellow runners, what kind of times do you shoot for? Β Do you have a best time, one you are proud of? Β Just shout it out to me if you do. Β
By the way, there’s a reason I love Jimmy Buffett’s music so much. Β I wasn’t sure I was in the mood for it when I started running today, but after a couple of songs I was feeling those mellow vibes all over again. Β Just something about his tunes that takes me away, and hooks me every time. Β I have always loved this song below, and I never tire of it. Β Classic.
