Sunlight creeping out
The crack of dawn opening
Revealing warm rays
Hint of small raindrops
Chasing light grey-black storm clouds
Bruised dark red sunset

Not a bad walk/run tonight, kind of tough, kind of easy. Felt good just to get out after several rainy stormy days.
Kiss me with dew drops
The morning said to the night
Then leave me to shine

Orange goblin light
Vein-like across the white clouds
Blood red sky above

Sunlight slanting
Its soft red rays
Like a blanket of warmth
Starting to heat the day
*
I stand at the window
Holding my son tight
Watching this new day dawn
With God’s golden light
A pewter grey sky
Mixed with mirror shards of red
Clouds filled with fire

The morning sun squeezed
Eased into the cloudy day

Quiet solitude
Morning rests in soft slumber
The day gently wakes
