Outside my window

Moon and stars light up the night

Cloudless naked sky

Thick yellow moonbeams

Illuminating the night

Casting out the dark

An overcast start

Rain showers on fallen leaves

Thunderstorm raging

A cold morning light

Anticipating winter

Squirrels gather nuts

Daylight approaching

Sunlight on the horizon

Bright beams kill the night

Sunlight streaming down

Naked trees stripped by Autumn

Reach up to the warmth

Rain clouds hanging low

Lingering dampness drags on

Into a new day

Harsh shafts of sunlight

Breaking up the cloudy grey

Warming up my soul

Covering the deck

Giants in shape and design

Jurassic style leaves

Gentle rain shower

Dripping and running off leaves

Nourishing the Earth

Cool and dark grey sky

Yellow and red autumn leaves

Falling in the rain

Cloudy slate-grey day

Autumn cool settling in

Among the fall leaves

Morning rocked with cold

Winter erasing the fall

With frozen chilled air

Watching the squirrels

Gathering up brown acorns

A cool autumn day

Yellow and bright green

Summer and fall tangled up

A lemon-lime tree

Through the clear screen

Cool breeze of early autumn

Splashed with smoky air

Colors of yellow

Showing through the leaves of green

Autumn is calling
