I also had two other closing lines for this one. Curious what you guys thought of them. Do you think either one of these would have been a better way to close this Haiku?
I’ve gotten hooked on Canadian Football – keeps me pre-occupied until the NFL and College Football starts back in the fall. This year though I might have to try and squeeze in some Canadian Football as well. If you need a football fix then this is your way to go until the fall. This is real football with real stakes right in the middle of summer. Sounds good to me. Find more on the CFL here: www.cfl.ca
Do you guys like to do puzzles? I’ve tinkered with them and I have found that the last ten pieces or so can be the hardest to do. Especially if you are working on white clouds or a solid color – like a sky or an ocean scene. I always do the border first and then fill in the middle, leaving the solid colors for the very last. That’s just me though.
This has been my dream car for a while now. It has appeared in lots of my stories, and is currently featured in “Joyride.” That short story is running free today in case you haven’t gotten your copy.
1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS
I thought I would post a bit of information on it.
Read on, if you are interested.
With the Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 1970 powerful engine, the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 0 60 could race from 0 to 60 in a little over 6 seconds. The quarter mile could be completed in just 13.7 seconds. Undervalued at an astounding 450HP, the 1970 Chevelle LS 454 was one of the fastest cars on the street, and to date is perhaps one of the most sought after muscle cars by collectors. A Joyride in a Chevy Chevelle. The car was just sitting there for the taking. What could possibly go wrong? Vinnie and Mike are about to find out what can and will go wrong once they turn the key. Evil awaits. Ride shotgun if you dare with this short story.
