Daylight fading out
Shower washes out the aches
Time to find the couch
Sea gulls chattering
Golfer steps up to the tee
One swing, full of dreams

I have gotten hooked very quickly on golf. I watched it a bit off and on before this year, but for some reason I just can’t get enough of it now. I have watched as much as I can of The Open this weekend. The drama, the suspense, the weather, like a great movie with a great cast playing out minute by minute. The fourth round should be amazing on Monday.
So, do you watch or play golf? Knock some reasons into the comments section below.

I posted this one to my other blog this morning. I thought I might share it here as well. A post about Father’s Day, so have a happy one to all you dads out there.

As a sidebar, I have started a new blog with a couple of buddies of mine. It is a blog about trying to be a Christian and walking with our faith each day. Tough to do. Here’s the link: unitedbythree.wordpress.com

Jordan Spieth just won The Masters by destroying everyone around him. I honestly don’t watch a lot of golf – never played the game myself – but sometimes I like to watch it. I got hooked this weekend, and I had to Haiku about it today. Did anyone reading this watch The Masters this weekend? I would love to hear your thoughts.

I was reading this bit of poetry this morning on Black and Write and it inspired me to write this Haiku. Thanks Dom for the inspiration.

Another Tuesday, another round of winter weather, this time snow instead of sleet and ice. They are saying we are due for another storm on Wednesday Night/Thursday Morning. Warm all winter in N. Carolina, and in 2 weeks possibly three winter storms, 2 down maybe 1 more to go. As I type this I can see snow falling from a storm that wasn’t predicted to hit like this. Supposed to be in the sixties next week. Crazy.
