Cicadas singing
Ringing out among the trees
Waiting on sunshine

Chasing an elusive star
Hoping for success

I have run a Podcast for about 4 years, Song Lines and Tan Lines, and that’s tough to put together week in and week out, but YouTube, that’s a totally different animal. Not only do you have to nail the audio, but the thumbnails, and the video too. Crazy how much work goes into making a YouTube Video and a YouTube Channel. I do have two new shorts available if you want to check them out. Thanks for following and putting up with my many adventures in the fiction world.
Welcome to springtime
Heat to air conditioner
Cool mornings, warm days
😝
Woke up and the house was cool. Checked the weather and it was 49 degrees Fahrenheit outside – 9.4 celsius – and it’s going to be 80 F this afternoon or 26.6 Celsius. That seems like a crazy jump to me.
Is your weather like that or is it more consistent?
Call of the morning
Songbirds filling up the trees
Singing at sunrise

No video but this is the way it sounds this morning. Love springtime.
Birds singing brightly
Under a dull morning moon
The songs of springtime
+
Tried to capture the moon and birds singing this morning.
Fallen Acorns
Acorn shifts and moves
Growing a face, legs, and arms
Time to devour
New short is live in case you want to watch it.
Deadly Dolls #haiku #supernatural #horrorshorts #spooky
New short and Haiku on the Disembodied Screams Channel.
Plastic arms reaching
Dolls voices screaming out loud
Vacant eyes staring
And I wrote this Haiku one night laying in bed listening to the rain. Don’t hate the rain, kind of enjoy a casual rainy day, but the Haiku has a nice ring to it.
A total washout
Rain, like a movie villain
Destroying the day
March 21, 2024
Another short.
Pollen invasion
Everywhere yellow dust
Choking out the day
White flowers in bloom
Dancing in the springtime sun
Bountiful and dense

Hope you guys aren’t tired of the extra posts. This new YouTube Channel has awakened my creativity. Have a good one and thanks for following my work.
I have really been enjoying working on this new YouTube channel. It’s giving me a lot of inspiration and I hope, if you have checked it out, that you are enjoying it too. Found myself down by the lake earlier today and captured another video and wrote another haiku.
Down by the lakeside
Water gently laps the shore
Sand under my feet
If you like what I am doing on YouTube, which is an extended arm for this blog and my Podcast Song Lines and Tan Lines, then make sure to follow me so you won’t miss any updates. With all that said, here is that video and haiku I recorded earlier today. I really like the way this one turned out. Hope you do to and thanks for enjoying my work.
