Quick clap of thunder
Powerful storm on the way
Time to hunker down
Silky spider web
Key to your hunting success
Trapping that big meal

Bald trees on the hills
White bark dots the green landscape
Mother Nature sighs
Hot blistering sun
No clouds to hold back the heat
Mother Nature burns
Blue vein like lighting
Streaking across the dark clouds
Thunder erupting
In the nighttime sky
White clouds drift by the full moon
Darkness takes over

Another one of those word grab Haiku for me. For some reason the word CLOUDS kept coming to mind this morning. I decided to write a Haiku based off of that word. Again, you can join in by writing something based off of the word CLOUDS. Post it in the comments or your own blog and then let me know about it. Thanks for reading.

Cascading gently
Soft tropical waterfall
Warm and inviting

Funny how we are inspired to write. I came up with warm tropical waterfall while washing my sons hands before he had breakfast. I thought, that would be a great line in a Haiku. So, I sat down and wrote this one out this morning. Hope you enjoy it.
