What’s this, cool again?
Summer is ever so close
Winter’s grasp lingers
Cold morning again and a cool day as well. I really can’t believe this is May already. Where is the Spring? Summer is getting close and we still really haven’t had a solid Spring. Winter really is tough to kick this year.
Thunder and lightning
Dancing inside a big storm
One leads, one follows
Replenishing rain
The Spring opens up for you
Creating new life
Yellow flowers reach
Buds bursting open for Spring
Eager for the warmth
Gentle breeze blowing
Cherry tree in full blossom
Snowing pink snow flakes

Sunlight on my skin
Warm rays, rejuvenation
Happy and content
I hear you hooting
Hoot, hoot, hooting all night long
Perched on your tree branch

I hear you singing
The song of the Nightingale
Chirping low and sweet

Cool morning mist hangs
Soft veil upon the shoreline
A blanket of white

Pink blossom filled trees
The view outside my window
This cool Spring morning

Under a dark sky
On the big green lily pads
Frogs sing to the rain
Bouncy, bounce, bounce, bounce
Jumpy, jumpy, jump, jump, jump
Living green and free

Greets my eyes today
As the cold of night lingers
The rays push it away

As it rises in the sky, bright blue
The sun casts its loving glow
Wipes away the dew

Fragrances fill my nose
In the living smell of Spring
The world is alive

Yes, Spring has sprung all over
Longer nights ahead
Sunshine permeates
Soft breeze whispers, trees listen
A cloudless blue sky
Merciless cold
Icy fingers
Tearing my flesh

So full of dark today
Please, please, I beg of you,
go away
Drops of rain
Flutter and fall
Making puddles
Thick and tall
Haunting as you hang
Ghost like, in the cloudless sky
